This is a great pad for heavier bladder leaks or heavier menstrual flow where the normal Slim Mega might not last you long enough. The Sandwich pad will cope with up to 12 medium gushes before getting saturated. The design is just as comfortable as the normal Slim Mega, so it is a great choice when you don't want the bulk of the Mega pad. The pad opens at the side like a pitta bread for you to easily slip the inserts in, and the wing folds over the gap to hold everything in place.

The new design is much better at preventing slipping or sliding (which some customers - not all - reported with the old style). It also has two rows of poppers so you can get a narrower fit if needed. This really is the ultimate very heavy flow, super comfy, leakproof pad!

The Sandwich pad comes with an additional long insert as well as a round one. The round insert can be placed up the front of the inside of the pad to bring a good amount of absorbency here where it is needed. Buy extra inserts if you need to!

Weak Bladder Rating: 6 - up to 12 medium gushes

I put the Sandwich version to the test on my heaviest days and it held through several gushes without that dreaded overflow. The extra absorbency is exactly what the regular Slim Mega was missing for me.

After switching from the regular Slim Mega, this sandwich version actually gets me through the day without changing pads every couple hours. I counted roughly ten trips to the bathroom on a bad day and it held up fine. The extra layer is noticeable but not bulky under jeans.

The pad handles heavy flow really well—I’ve tested it for about 8 hours without leaks. It’s a bit bulkier than I expected for a “slim” design, but the 12-gush capacity is honest.
