Bought these as seconds expecting worse, honestly. The wonky stitching on one corner is barely visible and the padding is still thick enough to cushion my camera gear in a backpack. At under eight quid I'm tempted to grab a few more before they're gone.
Found one tiny loose thread along the edge but honestly I had to hunt for it, the stitching elsewhere is solid. It's slimmer than my old pad but still takes a decent sized sandwich without squashing it. For seconds quality these look pretty much perfect to me.
For the price of a regular one you get two of these seconds, and honestly I can't even spot the flaw they mentioned. They're just as slim and absorbent as the full-price version.
